I have this really great photo of all my friends, except one of them is missing. Is there any way I can crop her in without buying Photoshop?

Go into Photoshop, load the photo, then click on the crop icon. Notice in the toolbar near the top that there are white boxes located next to "width" and next to "height" and enter your 2 and 3 in them (or whatever measurements).
