Removing Zits in Photoshop – Blemish Removal

Removing zits in Photoshop is so easy you will wonder why they’re so hard to get rid of in real life! This simple click of a button fix is the preferred method for most professional photographers today.

The Lesson:

zitOpenĀ  the Photo you’re going to work with; For this tutorial we’re going to work with the picture on the right.

spot_healing_brushPress J to select the Spot Healing brush and pick a brush size at the top of Photoshop which is slightly larger than the zit, or blemish. Click once or twice on the area to be fixed and you’re done! Photoshop can work magic on Portraits, and zit removal is one of it’s easiest features!

We’ll learn how to fix larger areas later with the “healing brush”.
